Mario Biaggi Jr. is an accomplished civil trial attorney having tried cases in the Supreme Court of Bronx, Kings, Nassau, New York, Queens, Richmond, Rockland, Suffolk and Westchester counties as well as in the Eastern and Southern Districts of Federal Court. In addition, he has argued numerous appeals to the Appellate Division, First and Second Department, the Federal Court's Second Circuit Court of Appeals, and the New York State Court of Appeals. He has also secured substantial multi-million dollar trial verdicts in areas ranging from personal injury to maritime law to real estate fraud. His 1.6 million dollar settlement during the damages phase of a bi-furcated trial, for the violation of a dismissed Town's employee's constitutional rights, was at the time of verdict the second largest amount awarded for violation of a citizen's constitutional rights in the history of the State of New York.

Mr. Biaggi has worked for a variety of public and private clients including the State of New York, the County of Westchester, The Town of Eastchester, the City of Mount Vernon, the Hyatt Hotel chain, the Sanitation Officers Union, the Correction Captains Union, Local 6 of the New York Hotel Trades Council, First American Title Insurance Co., the United Federation of Teachers, a host of private clients and has received more than 100 judicial appointments from the justices of the State of New York for guardianship and related work.

He was elected and re-elected as a judicial delegate in Bronx County and is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Abbott House, a child care agency and residential treatment center. Mr. Biaggi is also a member of the Tri-State Italo-American Organization and Columbian Lawyers Association, and a former member of the Coalition of Italo-American Associations, organizations devoted to the advancement of Italo-American causes. He is particularly proud to have been a founding member of the Forum's Children Foundation, an organization dedicated to providing life saving operations for young children all over the world. Mr. Biaggi has also spearheaded fundraising efforts for the St. Patrick's and Providence Rest Nursing Homes, the New York City Police Department's Columbia Association, Shomrim Society and the New York Foundling Hospital. He has served in an advisory capacity for business development for the Patriot National Bank, is a member of the Board of Directors of DAXOR, a public corporation currently trading on the American Stock Exchange and has been solicited for membership in the Trial Lawyers Millionaire Verdicts Club.

Mr. Biaggi was born in the Bronx New York and currently resides in Westchester County, New York. He is a graduate of Fordham Prep where he was a Maroon Key Honor Society member, All New York City athlete for two years and a member of the National Hall of Fame Foundation for High School Athletes.

Mr. Biaggi attended Columbia College where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa, Cum Laude, was a two time Academic All American, career quarterback sack leader, an N.C.A.A. Post Graduate Scholarship winner, recipient of the Columbia University 1913 Class Cup for highest grade point average among student athletes and earned a spot on the coach compiled list of the top Columbia football players of the 20th Century. While attending Columbia, Mr. Biaggi spent his summers working pro bono in Washington, D.C. for the United States Congress assisting with various legislative matters, including the creation of legislation securing loan guarantees to keep New York City from financial ruin in the 1970's.

After graduating from Columbia College, Mr. Biaggi attended Columbia Law School and is the winner of the Frank Hogan Scholarship named in honor of the legendary Manhattan District Attorney. He was admitted to the bar of the State of New York in 1984, First Department and to the Federal Court's Southern and Eastern Districts.
